Ah, Beltek. Wow, what a big party this year! As per my previous blog from my iphone deliriously @ 3am, it was a blast but man was I tired.. I had been having a little trouble sleeping, laid down for like 3 hours before leaving for Belmont for a much needed disco nap and didn’t get a fuckin wink. Sucked it up and figured I’d just go unconscious from lack of sleep and be oblivious once 3 or 4 rolled around. I put my earplugs in, tossed down like 3 extra ativan (0.5) and still couldn’t sleep until well after the music stopped @ 6ish. Got a few hrs in and sucked it up once again for day 2. (more…)
Well, it seems my week of concert/party going came to an unexpected end and I’m forced yet again to wait for a make-up date to see Nine Inch Nails. Beltek was off the hook last weekend and Coldplay did not disappoint last Monday. The trifecta week has been shorted but hey it was fun.. if not a little too rainy. More on Beltek to follow…
Got here around 8ish and set up the tent in semi darkness. Took a bit but I got it. Super soggy and muggy today, everythings sticky and moist my new air bed is a little slack. I stayed up as long as I could and here I lay in the tent @ 2:30 am listening to Joyride’s awesome psytrance set at high volumes and still fading.

This mutha is big this year, headcount is at 700 so far. Vendors with food, blown glass, even a freakshow attraction are here. A far cry from the modest little party I first attended some 3 years ago! I expect the population here may even double here by tomorrow night. Should be nutty!
Tried desperately to sleep before I left with no luck, now I’m cashing in before Abe’s set. I really aughta try to rally here in a few to see some of it..
