Beltek is Friday and I have a half day due to reaching my plan this month (yay me!), so I am psyched to be up & outta here early on Friday. It’s about a 2 and a half hour drive, maybe closer to 3, to the spot. So far I am all by myself on the ride there. I’m leaving Westbrook between noon and two depending on what’s going on. If anyone reading this is in my vicinity and needs a ride there, drop me a line here and let me know.

If you are planning on being there, I’ll see you there!

If you are not going… you really should.

Rainy Day Tunes

So here we are on another rainy afternoon. We? Ok here I am then. Me and anyone in southern ME I suppose.. Aaanyway – my heels are dragging a little but I find it’s not so bad the older I get.

I like few dark days here and there to brood and skulk about. Time to put on my headphones and baste in the juices of musical ennui, you know? Especially in the summer when my musical tastes turn particularly sunny (I know, go figure right?) and upbeat, a few good dreary days get me caught back up on my moodier listening quota.

Today was a Machines of Loving Grace (Gilt) day. Some other favorites: Portishead, Alice in Chains, nin of course, The Smiths, Massive Attack, the list goes on..

Anyone else? Or am I just weird, my musical moods at nature’s whims?
